ACA members auction cartoons online to raise money for Queensland

Members of the Australian Cartoonists’ Association (ACA) have set up a website (http://floodlines.com.au) to auction their works online and raise money for the Queensland Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal.

On the site, you are invited to take a look at the cartoons available and donate by bidding on your favourite pieces. All of the money raised is to be donated to the Flood Relief Appeal and will then be disbursed amongst people affected by the recent natural disasters in Queensland.

‘While the politicians squabble about how to raise money,’ it says on the website  ‘the Australian Cartoonists’ Association is raising funds to help put flood-affected Queenslanders back on their feet in the only way they know how: Drawing!’
