CAL 2009-10 Annual Report now available for download
During 2009-10 CAL continued to meet its obligations to licensees and members, connecting and supporting the creators and users of copyright material. The year’s highlights included:
- $136.5 million distributed to copyright owners – a new record for payment to CAL’s members.
- CAL appointed to administer the Australian Government’s resale royalty scheme for visual artists.
- Licensing fees of $112.6 million collected for the use of copyright material.
- The highest number of new members recruited in a single year (2,577).
- Commercial licensing fees growth to $13.6 million.
