CAL to attend Desert Mob 2011

Desert Mob 2011, an exhibition of central Australian Aboriginal art, opens today in Alice Springs. An initiative of the Araluen Arts Centre, the exhibition brings together artists and artworks from Desart (the Association of Central Australian Aboriginal Art and Craft Centres) member art centres. It is a selling exhibition and an important opportunity to see what is currently happening in the art centres across central Australia.

CAL’s Resale Royalty Manager Judy Grady and Indigenous Communications Coordinator Trish Adjei will be in attendance at Desert Mob this year to discuss resale royalty related matters with artists, art centres and art market professionals from the region. Whilst in the Alice Springs, Judy and Trish will also be meeting with Indigenous Art Code, the Australian Indigenous Art Trade Association and the Northern Territory Office of the Arts.
