CAL's free member seminars
Making the most of creativity
Make sure you book early to reserve your place at CAL's free seminar sessions, running in capital cities this May. You can attend one or both sessions — the choice is yours.
Session 1: 11am - 12.15pm
Introduction to CAL for members and copyright users
Just new to CAL and copyright? Then come along to this session to find out how CAL works — from the moment a copyright work is used, right through to payment for the use of that work being distributed to a CAL member.
Session 2: 1.30pm - 3.00pm
Copyright and technology: making the most of your online works
Aimed at creators of online content, this session covers all the latest legal and technological issues you need to know about, including the Google Settlement. The session will also look closely at how online works are used and discuss options for licensing your materials to users.
