Entries open for the 2011 Stanley Awards

The Australian Cartoonists Association (ACA) is seeking submissions for the 2011 Stanley Awards. Artists are invited to submit work in the following categories:

• Comic strip artist
• Editorial/Political Cartoonist
• Single Gag Cartoonist
• Caricaturist
• Comic Book Artist
• Illustrator
• Media Graphic Artist

All work submitted must have been professionally published between 1 July 2010 and 1 August 2011. The closing date for entries is 12 August 2011.

Submissions to the Awards are collated and published by the ACA in its annual year book that represents cartoons, comic strips, caricatures and illustrations published over the past year.

The Awards will be presented at an event in Sydney on 11 November.
