Triennial Review into Collecting Societies’ Code of Conduct finalised
CAL and other copyright collecting societies adhere to the Code of Conduct for Copyright Collecting Societies (the Code). The Code covers a range of matters, including obligations to members and licensees, education and awareness, and management of complaints. It is reviewed every three years.
The Code has recently been reviewed by the Code Reviewer, Hon J C S Burchet, QC, who also took into account feedback from interested parties who made their views known via written submissions and a public meeting. His report and a copy of the amended Code is available here. If you would just like to review the new version of the Code, you can do so here.
