Many of Copyright Agency's and Viscopy's members are Indigenous creators; more than half of the Australian artists represented by Viscopy are Indigenous.

Both the Copyright Agency and Viscopy boards have directors who are Indigenous artists.

Through our Indigenous Communications Coordinator, Trish Adjei, Copyright Agency|Viscopy has participated in a number of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) forums on traditional knowledge and Indigenous intellectual property.

We are also a signatory to protocols on the use of Indigenous works, and a registered supporter member of the Indigenous Art Code.
