Government departments, agencies and government-related bodies in Australia have two options to efficiently manage their responsibilities under the Copyright Act 1968 (the Act).
Unless your organisation falls under the Statutory Government licence or has signed a GovCopy licence with Copyright Agency Limited (CAL), under the Act you must negotiate with each individual copyright owner for the right to use their work.
