CAL announces new Board member

Alexis Clark has been appointed as an Independent Director on the Board of Australian copyright management company, Copyright Agency Limited (CAL).

Alexis Clark comes from a financial background and is currently in the role of Associate Director, Corporate Lending, GE Commercial Finance.

Alexis will be replacing former CAL Independent Director Cass O'Connor.

“Alexis' financial acumen and experience in commercial sectors will be of great benefit to CAL at a time when we are broadening our services in new and existing markets,” CAL CEO Michael Fraser said today.

“I look forward to assisting CAL in continuing to find the right balance between developing copyright management services for CAL members and licensees and streamlining CAL 's operational costs,” Alexis Clark said.

Alexis is responsible for originating and executing structured finance transactions in Melbourne and South Australia for GE Capital.

Alexis joined GE in 2004, prior to that he worked in Leasing & Structured Asset Finance with ANZ for 5 years where he worked on large structured finance deals with various Australian corporates. Alexis also worked in London at Greenwich NatWest and prior to this in Coopers & Lybrand Tax division.
