CAL seminar series:  payments, processes and copyright development

Managing the business of copyright

CAL 's business is changing and we want you to know about it. Along with offering new licences that will make your content available to more people than ever before, we are making changes to how we pay you for the use of your works - our planned new faster payment method, CALdirect.

Copyright laws are also changing as a result of the latest developments in technology and what issues you need to consider.

CAL has been meeting members and other creators throughout March with the year's first round of free seminars.

To view the presentation click here for the PowerPoint version, or here for the PDF version.

Seminars for CAL members and other creators are held throughout the year. If you would like to be placed on CAL's mailing list for future seminars, please email your preferred contact address details to events@copyright.com.au using the subject 'seminar mail list'.

The Australian Copyright Council also regularly  holds seminars on a variety of copyright matters. You can access their schedule at http://www.copyright.org.au/training
