If your work has been published, you may be eligible to receive a payment under the annual Writers’ and Artist Distribution*.
These distributions are for artists and writers who retain the copyright for works that are published within other books, magazines, newspapers, journals or online. This includes any written or visual works like articles, poems, essays, photographs or illustrations.
Writers’ and artist should only register works where they do not already have arrangements with their publisher for a share of Copyright Agency payments.
You can register your published works using your online member account on the Member Portal at any time.
Note: If you received a payment from the June 2021 Royalty Claim, you are likely to continue to receive a payment from the 2022 distributions. You do not need to register your works again.
* The annual Writers’ and Artist Distribution was formerly referred to as the Royalty Claim.
