The Emerging Writers’ Festival kicks off in various venues across Melbourne this June. There are over 50 in-person and digital events to attend, and most of the online events are free.
From Wednesday 16 – Saturday 26 June 2021, storytellers across the globe will unite to showcase their talents, tell their tales and share insights and experiences in a program filled with discovery, learning, and delight.
Through the flagship festival in Melbourne and an annual program of events, EWF provides opportunities for emerging writers to develop professionally, and supports them to engage new and larger audiences. We are a place where creativity and innovation are celebrated, where new talent is nurtured and where diverse voices from across Australia are represented.
