The English Teachers Association NSW’s Annual Conference will be held at UNSW on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 November.
Significant elements of the conference deal with the new syllabus emphasis on writing and how to teach it, as well as the continuing developments in multimodality and the way these can be turned to advantage in the classroom.
The theme, “Re-imagining English”, asks us to consider what changes need to be made to ensure that student learning aligns with the spirit and highest intentions of the new document.
