Date 16 Jul, 2020
Venue Rose Chong Costumes, Gertrude Street, Fitzroy VIC, Australia

16 June – 16 July 2020

The Isolation Diorama Project 2020 is a series of small exhibitions in public spaces. The first one, Such Is Now, is presented as a lit-up peepshow behind two large eyes looking out from behind a Ned Kelly mask painted directly onto the glass window of Rose Chong Costumiers on Gertrude St, Fitzroy.

Artist Jacqui Stockdale says, “It is in response to a pandemic.” Since March this year she has been making miniature versions of her large sculptures that are part of her major solo exhibition, The Long Shot at Linden New Art in St Kilda. It was closed for a few months and is now reopened until late August 2020.
