The long and the short of it: A new competition for emerging writers

February 10, 2021

Griffith Review is launching a new writing competition supported by the Copyright Agency’s Cultural Fund. The long and the short of it: A new competition for emerging writers is part of the celebrations for Griffith Review’s upcoming seventy-fifth edition in 2022. This new competition is now open for emerging writers who are unpublished or have published only one book in fiction or non-fiction.

Three winning entries will share $15,000 in prize money and have their work published in the seventy-fifth edition of Griffith Review in February 2022! Judges Rachel Bin Salleh (Magabala Books), Aviva Tuffield (UQP) and Robert Watkins (Ultimo Press), as well as Griffith Review’s editorial staff, will face the difficult task of deciding the winning entries.
