Update on schools survey

As you may recall from our Creative Licence newsletter last year (here), the surveys in schools were paused in early 2020 due to COVID-19. With the ongoing uncertainty related to the pandemic, Copyright Agency recently agreed with school sector representatives to continue the survey pause until the end of 2021. This means that schools surveys in their current form will not take place this year. We are continuing to work with the school sector on future methods of data collection using modern technologies, including running pilots of alternative survey data collection in schools selected in the 2021 sample surveys.
