Termination notice period for Statutory Education Licences
In the unlikely event that you need to request to terminate your access to the Statutory Education Licence (for example, because your institution is closing), please note that your remuneration agreement with Copyright Agency contains a termination notice period (usually three months).
This means that you would usually need to submit a termination request before the end of September if you would like to meet this requirement in time for the end of the 2021 calendar year. This will grant the necessary notice to terminate your agreement and revoke your remuneration notice under the Copyright Act.
