Copyright Agency Partnerships/ACCA 2022

March 25, 2022

The Copyright Agency is excited to be working with the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA) in 2022 for the second year of our Copyright Agency Partnerships (CAP) visual arts commission.

This annual series was launched in April 2021 to support major commissions for mid-career and established visual artists, providing an $80,000 commission and solo exhibition, in partnership with leading cultural organisations around Australia.

Following on from the inaugural launch with 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art in 2021, TextaQueen’s solo exhibition, Bollywouldn’t will open 22 October – 18 December 2022 at 4A’s Haymarket gallery. Next year’s CAP opportunity will be in partnership with the Institute of Modern Art in Brisbane.

This year’s application opens 9am Monday 4 April via the SmartyGrants online platform, also accessible through the Cultural Fund’s webpage.

We encourage you to consult and review ACCA’s Information Pack and FAQs before submitting your application.

Applications will close at 1pm Monday 16 May 2022 (AEST) with the successful artist/s being announced in early July.
