Congratulations to our award-winning surveyor members

Last month, business leaders from the surveying industry gathered in Sydney for the 2023 National Surveying Congress. As well as providing an opportunity for surveyors to come together to discuss the issues facing their sector and focus on growth for the future, the Congress also hosted the Surveying Consultancy Excellence Awards.
We are so pleased to congratulate our members who were recognised in the 2023 awards:
Winning the Small Firm category, Rivland Surveyors in Wagga Wagga, were awarded for their all-round professionalism and ongoing training.
Earl James and Associates were Highly Commended for their commitment to the surveying profession and for supporting workers in remote areas.
Also highly commended were Reeds Consulting, for their professionalism to a strong and diverse range of clients and projects.
Tamworth’s Hanlons Consulting took home the award for a Medium Firm. They were recognised for outstanding commitment to the profession, team development and increasing surveyor student numbers.
The Large Firm Category winner was Sydney’s SDG, who won that category for the third year in a row! SDG was acknowledged for going above and beyond for their profession, with a strong commitment to employee training and wellbeing.
Final congratulations go to the teams nationally at Veris, for their win in the National Firm Category. They were recognised for their investment in programs to promote careers in surveying and implementing an Indigenous Surveyor Employment Pathway Program.
