Now in its third year, in 2023 Words on the Waves Writers Festival welcomes an impressive gathering of Australia’s best authors and journalists to NSW Central Coast from Wednesday 31 May to Monday 5 June.
The 2023 theme is: the mind swims. With author talks and panels, as well as evening conversation events, a cinema screening, literary cruise, family fun day, schools program and more, the festival offers a diverse range of high quality literary events for both the Central Coast community and visitors to the area.
The program of events features Pip Williams, Claire G. Coleman, Diana Reid, Inga Simpson, Stella Prize winner Sarah Holland-Batt, Louis Nowra, Mandy Sayer, Fiona McGregor, Miles Franklin Award winner Jennifer Down, and many more.
